Rise Inspired Waldorf School welcomes children from all backgrounds, cultures, and corners of the world. Every family that finds their way to us brings something unique; and we are glad you are here.

Our admissions process begins with a call with our Director. Then an application is filled out before you  come and see the land, meet the teachers, and feel the rhythm of a school day. From there, we invite each child to experience Rise if time allows.  Pre-Kinder and Kindergarten children join us for a one-day trial, and children entering the grades spend two days with their class. This gives the child, the family, and our teachers the chance to sense whether this is the right fit with no pressure, only presence.

Rise is not just a school. It is a community, and communities are built by the people within them.

We believe that when families are genuinely present in the life of the school, something changes: in the children, in the parents, and in the school itself. Not because we require it, but because it is simply true: the more you give to this place, the more it gives back to you.

We ask each family to contribute 4 hours of volunteering per month. What we have seen, time and again, is that parents who step into that role don’t just help the school, they find a deeper connection to their children, to this community, and to the life they are building here in Costa Rica.
